Cherry Hill
Albany, NY 12202
Cherry Hill is the historic home of five generations of the Van Renseelaer family. It was bequeathed to New York State by Emily Rankin, the last occupant, and opened as a museum in 1964. Visitors have reported seeing an unidentified ghost moving about the grounds. It has been suggested that the haunting could be the result of the famed 1827 Cherry Hill Murder, in which Elsie Lansing and her lover, Jesse Strang, conspired to killer her husband, John Whipple.

Reviews
I was tagging along for a rehearsal. As I walked alongside the house I couldn’t take my eyes off
The rear entrance. I received a chair that was placed facing away from the rear entrance but my attention was drawn to the entrance. I turned around and immediately felt strong pressure at the base of my skull, began to cough sneeze and felt nauseous. I left and felt sick for over an hour. I’ve never experienced those symptoms before.
