St. Mark’s Church is the second-oldest church in Manhattan, and is said to be haunted by the foul-tempered spirit of a Dutch Colonial Governor named Peter Stuyvesant. The church building was built atop what was once the site of Stuyvesant’s family farm, and the angry old man seems none too pleased with that fact. His peg-legged apparition has been seen walking about the church, and has been known to ring church bells and interrupt mass. Stuyvesant has heckled parishioners and started stomping and singing in the middle of services.

A True Spook Magook!

Excellent article. Even if you don’t see the spirits you can surely feel them and actually they are everywhere. Do not seek them. You will only open yourselves up to evil spirits.
