Orchard Hall Restaurant
Sauquoit, NY 13456
Orchard Hall Restaurant in Sauquoit occupies a large home dating back to the early 1840s which is rumored to have been a stop on the Underground Railroad. One of the women who used to live in the building, Julia, is said to haunt the its upper floor and is particularly fond of the Red Room where her rocking chair regularly moves by itself. Accounts of how Julia died conflict; some say she was bled to death after being shot at the bar and others claim she died in labor.

Orchard hall. A warm Country style cooking that leaves your mouth watering for more. A after taste of fafillment and family .A new renovated Atmosphere that still has that Classey 1800 hundred look .Both of both worlds. I wish I had that in my town. I thank Mr and Mrs Puleo for bring back the meaning of family and true Country cooking .GOD BLESS YOU BOTH.

One Friday October night I was with my cousins eating at Orchardhall.i decided to go upstairs with my camcorder to see what would happen.Well as I walking down the hall.My body got cold with fear.as a chill went down my back as I was filming.at one point I was about to go into this room.i heard three knocks.i zoomed on to this figure of a bearded man.as I zoomed up on it.it was just a statue of Santa clause as my heart was beating through my chest. I walked in to the front bedroom. It was dark as the street light beamed into the room to give me a little sight to see.i saw a fire place.then all of a sudden I felt a scared child in the corner crying to just leave her alone.Well that put me over the edge.I did what she said.i left. I have a disk of my adventure. I have a feeling this spirite can not let go to move on.I pray for her sole.j
