Farnam Mansion
Oneida, NY 13421
The Farnam Mansion in Oneida is a historic house built in 1862, constructed in the Italianate style. It is named for its original owner, Stephen Head, and has changed hands several times since. For a time it operated as a bed and breakfast; though it has since ceased that function it is still open to paranormal investigations and provides guided tours upon request.
In recent years investigations have turned up a variety of paranormal happenings. A lamp in the main parlor has been known to turn on by itself, disembodied footsteps and voices have been heard coming from coming from the bedroom directly above the parlor, and shadow figures have been seen darting along the exterior wall. A midnight séance was conducted by owner, Gerri Gray, in 2011; during the séance heavy footsteps were heard running across the halls and a white spectral cat appeared on the attic stairs.

Reviews
The Farnam Mansion is now home to Victorian Lady Antiques. People who are psychic sensitive can feel the energy the moment they walk through the door. Nothing evil or negative. The spirits that reside in this Civil War era mansion are friendly and at times playful with visitors.
