SUNY Geneseo
Geneseo, NY 14454
SUNY Geneseo was founded in 1871 as Wasworth Normal and Training School, and did not become a liberal arts college until 1948. Three buildings on campus are rumored to be haunted by the ghost of at least one young boy. Strange noises have been heard and apparitions seen in Blake Hall and Steuben Hall, which are said to be haunted by the spirit of a boy who fell to his death while the buildings were being built. Monroe Hall is haunted by a 6-year-old named Eric who also allegedly died during construction; it is uncertain whether Eric is the same young boy who haunts Blake and Steuben.
