Starin Place
Fultonville, NY 12072
This 26-room mansion was once home to John Henry Starin, a US congressman and one time postmaster of Fultonville. It is also believed to be home to some restless spirits, as visitors have reported hearing unexplained noises and seeing shadows move around the grounds and inside several bedrooms. Today the building is owned by the Fortroyal Foundation, a preservation and arts society.
