Carnegie on 57
Liverpool, NY 13090
Carnegie on 57 serves its patrons a variety of Italian-American dishes, but the pasta isn’t the only thing that makes the restaurant locally famous. Witnesses have reported seeing the apparition of a woman in the restaurant, and employees say that objects in the building will sometimes move on their own. The ghost is said to be that of one Lisa Siler, who was shot and killed in the building—then under the name of Pronto’s Restaurant—by her estranged husband in 1989. Some have reported feelings of uneasiness while alone in the restaurant, but the spirit has never appeared violent in anyway.
