The Country Club of Troy was established in 1925 as a private club and golf course. During the '70s a waitress who worked at the clubhouse drove off a bridge in icy conditions. Her spirit is said to still haunt the club grounds, and some say her footsteps can be seen leading into the woods when it snows.
