Mount Misery

The grounds of Mount Misery are said to be haunted. It was not only ground that was impossible to farm on and that the Natives claimed as cursed, but it is also where a small mental hospital sat in the early 1900s. Its building was set on fire after a patient by the name of Mary escaped. She is said to have been buried there.

Since that time, reports of paranormal activity has continued to roll in. There's stories of the spirit of children and a woman calling for help, foul odor emitting from the site, sounds of growling when no animals were in sight, and even the instance of red glowing eyes and glowing orbs that would appear.
