Hotel Chelsea in downtown New York is famous for having hosted countless celebrities over the years. Though it ceased to operate as a hotel for a time, restoration efforts began to open the building back up to the public with a goal of welcoming new guests by 2016. Nancy Spungen, the girlfriend of Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious, was infamously murdered here in the late 1970s. Some say her ghost still haunts the building to this day.
