Garrett Memorial Chapel
Bluff Point, NY 14478
The Garrett Memorial Chapel was erected by Evelyn and Paul Garrett to honor their son, Charles, who died of tuberculosis in 1929. Many of the Garrett’s children died young, and Charles was the only son to survive into adulthood. The chapel, which stands atop lands once used for the Garrett and Company winery, is rumored to be haunted by three spirits: a priest, a boy and a woman. Witnesses have seen green glowing lights and orbs, and heard the screams of a child. An invisible force has reportedly grabbed a hold of several visitors.
