Oriskany Battlefield

The Oriskany Battlefield State Historic Site was the location where the Revolutionary War Battle of Oriskany was fought in 1777. Due to its past, it's no surprise that the grounds are said to be haunted. Witnesses have reported a bad smell that comes from the woods, a men’s restroom door in the visitor's center that is occasionally slammed shut by a shadowy figure, lights, orbs, the sound of musket fire, and screams.
