Octagon Farm
Walton, NY 13856
This retired dairy farm in the Hudson Valley is no longer in business, but rumor has it that there's some ghostly spirits keeping the place busy.
Sprawled out over 85 acres of land, Octagon Farm features a 10-room historic building that is one of only eight brick octagon houses in the entire country.
Haunted stories say that in the 19th Century, a young bride in her wedding dress mounted a white horse to ride to her ceremony. The horse got scared for some reason and ended up throwing the bride off - leading to her death. To this day, locals claim to see the disturbing scene repeated each night in ghostly form.
