The Machpelah Cemetery in Queens is a Jewish cemetery that dates back to 1860. The cemetery is the final resting place for the legendary escape artist Harry Houdini. Houdini died on Halloween night in 1926 at the age of 52 and his wife, Bess, held a séance at the grave every on October 31st until her death in 1943 in a desperate attempt to contact her husband from beyond the grave. Every Halloween night, Houdini's grave draws crowds. Cemeteries are eerie to begin with, but this one is even creepier due to Houdini's grave - enter if you dare!
