The Church of St. Barnabas in Irvington is rumored to be haunted by two different ghosts. One is believed to be that of a former pastor and the other that of a former pastor’s wife, who died somewhere in the early 1900’s. It's been said that she is especially drawn to the children of pastors who live in the rectory and will visit them at night.
