Opened in 1827 as the Genesee County Poor Farm was a self sustainable facility housing widows, orphans, physically and mentally challenged, criminals, indigent, war veterans etc. Come 1938 the property transformed into the Genesee County Infirmary, morphing in 1964 into the Genesee County Nursing Home, before closing its doors in 1974. After three private owners, the current owner purchased it in 2010 and is going into the 14th year owning the property and living with spirits. Rolling Hills Asylum is now known as, and is arguably the most, haunted location in the country.

There are so many memorable experiences across the last 13 yrs of owning Rolling Hills Asylum. From the tens of thousands of guests from around the world who come to tour and investigate RHA and seeing/hearing their first hand experiences interacting with all the spirits, to the numerous celebrities and television shows that have featured RHA. However, the best and most memorable experiences come from my spirit family themselves; how they interact, call out names. touch people, move objects such as flashlights and wheel chairs, or are able to manifest visual to be seen and even captured in videos and photos - even on cell phone cameras!

Rolling Hills Asylum encompasses nearly 60,000 square feet, three buildings and a tunnel - three to floors depending on if you are in the west or east wing. Purchasing Rolling Hills Asylum was a labor of love - the love of saving an historical property, coupled with my love and fascination for the paranormal. Being able to save a part of history is super important to me and a driving force behind purchasing the property. But just as important is the ability to interact with spirit on a daily basis and to truly know - our loved ones who pass are really always just a breath away.
