Sand Flats Orchard is a family farm owned and operated by The Hoffman Family. Our offerings include; Apples (u pick and picked), Apple Cider, Mums, Pumpkins, squash and other fall vegetables. Tractor Rides, Corn Maze, Farm Animals, Picnic and more!

Pick your own Pumpkin:
Pull one of our wagons out to the pumpkin patch. Or just pick one out from the ones we picked.

Corn Maze:
Our educational corn maze will offer a new challenge every year. Follow the questions and see if you can answer them, they will lead through the maze and to the exit. If you would like to get out a little quicker we have that option too.

Hay Rides:
Hay Rides begin around noon (sooner if necessary) on Saturdays and Sundays. Group tours during the week are by appointment. You will enjoy a ride around our 100 acre farm with beautiful views of the Mohawk Valley.

Farm Animals:
Our animals enjoy the company as much as we do. This activity is free.

 

 

From the North: Follow Rt 30A from Johnstown south about 3 miles. Turn right onto Commons Road go about 1.8 miles to the intersection of Martin Road and Commons Road. From the West: Follow Rt 5 from Canajoharie east about 9.8 miles. Turn left onto Martin Road go 1.3 miles. From the South: Follow the directions from the East if using the NY Thruway. OR Follow Rt 30A to Fultonville, you will go over the Mohawk River and pass Fonda Speadway. Turn left onto Rt 5, go through the village of Fonda, about .5 miles. Turn right onto Rt 334/ Cayadutta St. follow for 1.9 miles. Turn left on to Commons Road go about .1 mile to the intersection of Martin Road and Commons Road. From the East: NY Thruway to exit 28, left on to Riverside Drive about 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Rt 30A, you will go over the Mohawk River and pass Fonda Speadway. Turn left onto Rt 5, go through the village of Fonda, about .5 miles. Turn right onto Rt 334/ Cayadutta St. follow for 1.9 miles. Turn left on to Commons Road go about .1 mile to the intersection of Martin Road and Commons Road. OR Follow Rt 5 west to Fonda, go through the village of Fonda, about .5 miles. Turn right onto Rt 334/ Cayadutta St. follow for 1.9 miles. Turn left on to Commons Road go about .1 mile to the intersection of Martin Road and Commons Road.
