Terror Behind Bars - A New Wayne County Haunt!

For over 100 years, the Old Jail and Sheriff's residence housed an array of inmates, some just passing through and others who were doing hard time behind bars.

The days, weeks, and months are filled with consistency and routine; from morning to night the jail's order and peace are kept firmly in place. Until they aren't anymore.

Walk through the Museum after dark and experience the terror when all hell breaks loose in the old Wayne County Jail.

Terror Behind Bars is located in the basement and on the first floor of the Museum of Wayne County History - it will not include the second floor or the carriage house.

While this event is entirely indoors, attendees will be required to wait outside before entering the haunt. Dress accordingly! There will be refreshments available for purchase throughout the event.

 

From East & West: Take NYS Thruway to Exit 42 (Geneva) Turn left on to Route 14N to village. Cross Route 31 and take 2nd left onto Montezuma Street. Go straight (Montezuma turns into Church) Continue to end Museum is straight ahead. Parking in rear of building. From South & North: Take Route 14 to village, turn right onto Montezuma. Go straight (Montezuma turns into Church) Continue to end Museum is straight ahead. Parking in rear of building.
